At least nine people sustained injuries in an explosion at a chemical plant in the Iranian central province of Isfahan, the Mehr News Agency (an Iranian news agency Headquartered in Tehran) reported on Sunday, citing a source from the local emergency medical department. According to the source, the explosion occurred at a chemical plant in Shahin Shahr city. Victims were hospitalized. Social media users from Shahin Shahr, Isfahan are reporting a "loud explosion-like noise" and "a red light in the sky." They say their house glasses shook & many woke up! It happened around 4:10 AM local.
