When will this end? ⏰️

This blog is a conjoining of two previously published blogs and an amplification of the topic, to enable easier reading and sharing of the information. I’ll use transliterated terms and the generally used – and better known - ones between brackets behind them.

The 7000-year plan.

I’d like to start by talking about the 7000-year plan of our Creator.

He sets a pattern at creation, as described in the book Bere'shiyth (Genesis); a pattern of 7 days - 6 days for creation and 1 day of rest.

According to Tehillah (Psalm) 90:4 a day is like a 1000 years.

It says, "For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night."

Kepha Sheniy (2 Peter) 3:8 says, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with Yahuah as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

Another clue is the prediction by Husha (Hosea), in 6:1-2, that the restoration of the Yahudiym (Jews) would occur "after two days".

It says: "Come, let us return to El-Yahuah: for He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His light.”

The Yahudiym returning after the 2nd World War, was a restoration within, but near the end of, the 2nd day - that is the 2nd millennium - after the 1st coming of Yahusha HaMashiach (Jesus Christ).

So, the pattern of 7 days can be turned into 7000 years.

From the Beginning to Avraham = 2000 years.

From Avraham to HaMashiach (the Christ) = 2000 years; which totals as 4000 years.

From His 1st coming to His 2nd coming = 2000 years; which totals as 6000 years.

And the last 1000 years, the Millennial Kingdom of HaMashiach; the Shabbat of Rest mentioned in Ivriym (Hebrews) 4:9-11, which says:

"There remains therefore a Shabbat for the people of Elohiym. For he that is entered into His rest, he has ceased from his own works, as Elohiym did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.".

In a different translation this reads as:

“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God‟s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.”

The 7,000 year plan of our Creator has been consistent with Hebrew thought for thousands of years. The apostle Bar-Naviy (Barnabus) was a partner in ministry to the apostle Pa'al (Paul) (see Ma'asiym [Acts] 13:2, and 14:14). The Epistle of Bar-Naviy, written in the 1st Century, explicitly tied the 7 days of creation to Tehillah 90:4 and the 7,000 year plan of Elohiym.

From the Epistle of Bar-Naviy, chapter 15, verses 3-5:

"He speaks of the Shabbat at the beginning of the Creation, "And Elohiym made in six days the works of His hands and on the seventh day He made an end, and rested in it and sanctified it." Notice, children, what is the meaning of "He made an end in six days"? He means this: that Adonai (the Lord) will make an end of everything in six thousand years, for a day with Him means a thousand years. And He Himself is my witness when He says, "Lo, the day of Adonai (the Lord) shall be as a thousand years." So then, children, in six days, that is in six thousand years, everything will be completed. "And He rested on the seventh day." This means, when His Son comes He will destroy the time of the wicked one, and will judge the 'godless', and will change the sun and the moon and the stars, and then He will truly rest on the seventh day."

The Sacred Scriptures teach that HaMashiach (the Christ) will come to the earth for a second time at the end of 6000 years, counting from the beginning.

It also teaches that Mashiach - after His return - at the beginning of the third day, or third Millennium, counting from the time of His first coming, will - after they had been raised up - revive the Jewish people, that is making them alive again.

“After two days He will revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His light.” Husha (Hosea) 6:2.

So, where are we? When does the 6000 years end? When does the 2000 years end?

Do we count from the birth of Mashiach or His death and resurrection?

This is the question that most would try to answer first to find out when to expect His return.

Well, the 2000-year count could be from either the birth or death/resurrection of Yahusha (Jesus), so the count could end somewhere between 1995-2034 AD.

Yahusha should return to earth at some point during this time period.

But what about the 6000-year count? When does that end?

We can count the years from A'dam until the present day and be fairly accurate in our conclusions about when the 6000 years end.

Everything has been laid out for us in the Scriptures. Have you ever wondered why the Sacred Scriptures record the ages of people all the way back to A'dam? Or why it records the number of years the Kings of Yashar'el (Israel) ruled? The Author was giving us the numbers, so that we could COUNT the years from Creation and KNOW the approximate time of when the 6000 years would end.

We must keep in mind that when the Scriptures say that A'dam was 130 years old when Sheth was born, or that Lemek (Lamech) was 182 years old when Noach was born, that it doesn’t mean that they turned that age on the day of their son's birth.

In many cultures, including Hebrew culture, when someone turns 30, they are considered to be in their 31st year, therefore they consider them to be 31, as opposed to our own culture where we would say they are only 30. In the Hebrew culture and most ancient cultures, when a baby is born, they were already considered to be ONE; therefore, on what we would call their "first birthday", they would say the child is turning TWO. The same can be surmised when it says a king reigned 45 years, that it is mostly likely saying his term ended in the 45th year, not that he completed 45 full years.

It is crucial that we understand this, in order to correctly count the years as laid out in the Sacred Scriptures. If we only count 130 + 105 + 90, etc., we will reach the end of 6000 years somewhere in the 1990’s. Obviously, we are past that time and Yahusha has not yet returned to earth, so we must understand how the Hebrew culture counts years in order to correctly count the years as laid out to us in the Scriptures. So, when it says that A'dam was 130 years when Sheth was born, we must understand that he was in his 130th year, therefore he could have completed between 129 years to 129 years and 364 days. Since we do not know exactly his age, we should count that on average, he had completed 129.5 years of living.

The one number you may have a problem understanding is that Terach was in his 130th year when Avram was born. Bere'shiyth (Genesis) 11 mentions that Terach lived 70 years and then gave birth to 3 sons, listing Avram as the first. However, Avram was not the eldest of these three sons. Stephen tells us in the book of Ma'asiym (Acts) that Avram did not leave Haran until after Terach died. Bere'shiyth 12 tells us that Avram was 75 when he left Haran and that his father was 205 years old when he died. We simply need to subtract 75 from 205 to understand that Terach was in his 130th year when Avram was born. The Renewed Covenant writings (New Testament) helps us to properly understand the Ancient Covenant writings (Old Testament), and together the Ancient and Renewed Covenant writings make up what we call the written Word of Yahuah (God).

For ease of reading I will use the usually well known translated names in the picture below.

If you add the above numbers up, you will see that from Creation until the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem in 586 BC, there were right around 3400 years. Adding 585 to that reaches 1 BC. Then adding 2020* years to that number, and you will see that we are right at the end of the 6000 year mark, give or take a few years. We are right there.

(* Remember that the original blog was written in 2021!)

The Jubilee years.

Another remarkable proof of this is found in the Jubilee years. According to the instructions given to the Hebrews each 50th year was a Jubilee year, a year which had a special impact on the ownership and management of land in the Land of Israel. According to the Book of Leviticus, Hebrew slaves and prisoners would be freed, debts would be forgiven, and the mercies of Yahuah would be particularly manifest.

“And Yahuah said, My Ruach shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.” - BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 6:3 את CEPHER

This statement by Yahuah does not point at a shortening of the maximum time of living of humans to 120 years, because we see people reach ages of 950, 600, 438, 433, 464, 239, 239, etc. (Resp. Noach, Shem, Arpakshad, Shelach, Eber, Peleg, Re’u, and more.) for hundreds of years.

What it does point at, is the amount of jubilee years that will pass in which humankind is allowed to reign the world. Which raises the question how many have passed and how many are left to go?

The predictions of Judah Ben Samuel.

Judah Ben Samuel was a legendary and prolific German rabbi of the 12th century who made some astonishing and specific predictions about the future of Jerusalem and Israel that came true. Judah Ben Samuel, also known as Judah he-Hasid (Judah the Pious), lived and worked from the end of the 12th century until the beginning of the 13th century in Regensburg, authoring a number of books in the German language.

Following the Christian crusades to the Holy Land, between 1096-1270, a regular correspondence developed between the Jews in the Holy Land and the Christian West. Thus, for example, the rabbis in Worms and Regensburg in Germany knew that Saladin's Ayyubids had been ruling in the Holy Land since 1187.

At this time, Judah Ben Samuel published the results of his biblical calculations (Gematria) and astrological observations and summarized as follows: "When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man's land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time."

As said before, one jubilee is 50 years (See Vayiqra, Leviticus, 25). It is the 50th year after seven times seven years, the year in which each person should regain ownership of his or her land. Ben Samuel's calculations were purely theoretical; there was absolutely no sign at that time of them going to be fulfilled. He himself was not able to experience their fulfilment, for it was only 300 years after his death that the first of his predictions were to come true. The Mamluks, who had been reigning in Jerusalem since 1250, were conquered in 1517 by the Ottoman Turks. They remained for eight jubilees (8 x 50 = 400 years), that is to say they were in Jerusalem for 400 years. Exactly 400 years later, in 1917, the Ottoman Turks were conquered by the British. The League of Nations conferred the Mandate for the Holy Land and Jerusalem to the British. Thus, from 1917, under international law, Jerusalem was no-man's land. Then, when Israel captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War of 1967, exactly one jubilee (50 years) after 1917, Jerusalem reverted to Jewish-Israeli ownership once again. Thereby, according to the prophecies of Judah Ben Samuel, the Messianic End Times began.

But to recap the astonishing predictions: In AD 1217 this scholarly and pious rabbi prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for eight Jubilees. Now, keep in mind, he made this prediction 300 years before the Ottoman Turks seized control of Jerusalem in 1517. If indeed 1217 and 1517 were jubilee years as Judah Ben Samuel believed, then his prophecy was exactly right, because exactly 400 years after the Turks took control of Jerusalem they were driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General Edmund Allenby – on Chanukkah, by the way.

But it gets more interesting. The rabbi also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would be a "no- man's land." This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to the fact that the Holy Land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally "belonged" to no nation.

Even after Israel's war of independence in 1948-49, Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israel controlling the western part of the city. That strip of land was considered and even called "no-man's land" by both the Israelis and the Jordanians. It was not until the Six Day War in 1967 when the entire West Bank of the Holy Land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prediction made by the rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.

It certainly would be significant if both 1917 and 1967 were Jubilee years, considering the significance of what happened in Jerusalem on those years.

But it gets even more interesting still, because Judah Ben Samuel also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic "end times" would begin. If he's right, the 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and was concluded in 2017.

Witnesses.

The Sacred Scriptures tell us that we need witnesses to establish a matter. “One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sins: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.” - DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 19:15 את CEPHER

[By the way, this is cited in Mattithyahu (Matthew) 18:16 and Qorintiym Sheniy (2 Corinthians) 13:1]

The two points, that have been discussed earlier, are like two witnesses mentioned in above Scripture quote. Although that section of Scripture is speaking about matters of law, the principle can be applied to other matters too.

So, putting these two Major clues together, as two witnesses, we know that the Scriptural year that overlapped the Gregorian years 2017 and 2018 was the 6000th year.

This means that the year 6006 has started on March 21st according to the Yom Qodesh calendar, which is a calendar according to all of the Sacred Scriptures.

The question is then of course "Why has Yahusha HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) not returned yet to start His millennial year reign on earth?"

When did it start?

According to the Cepher Yovheliym (the Book of Jubilees) 3:18 it was only after the 1st week of 7 years that A'dam and Chuah (Eve) sinned for the first time.

If the 120 Jubilee year count, which is 6000 years in total, started at THAT moment, than it would end with the Scriptural year overlapping the Gregorian years 2024 and 2025.

The next year – the first of the next millennium - would start right after the New Moon of March 29, 2025, which Is totally darkened at 10:57 GMT. In other words, March 29 would be the last day of year 6000 since the fall and 30 March would be the first day of the year 6001!

The last seven years.

This means that we are well underway in the last 7 years of the reign by mankind over the world. These 7 years have been called years of tribulation and affliction in the Sacred Scriptures.

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.” - MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 24:21-22 את CEPHER

“For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which Elohiym created unto this time, neither shall be. And except that Yahuah had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he has chosen, he has shortened the days.” - MARQUS (MARK) 13:19-20 את CEPHER

These two pages are usually applied to the last 7 years, although it can also be applicable to the period of the destruction of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) in the 7th decade of the 1st century AD.

When applied to the current time of the end of this current age, we may expect a shortening of the time of tribulation and affliction.

Most people would think of a shortening as something that happens at the end. But what can we expect when the endpoint is fixed, not to be changed? In  that case we may expect the shortening at the beginning. In other words, the affliction wouldn’t begin with the first year, but sometime into the last 7 years.

This seems to be what happened.

A third witness.

Recently I woke up quite early and was thinking about a discussion I had listened to during the Zoom meeting of the Faith Community I am a member of, the day before. Some people had been talking about the tribulation and the shortening of it, that we may expect. They were talking about it as something that we still have to expect.

From the above, you can understand that I have different thoughts on this matter. But I didn’t interject to share my thoughts.

Now, while I was thinking about this, I thought “Why did I not interject?” Am I not certain enough? Am I not convinced?

I thought I would like a third witness. So I prayed and asked Yahuah to give me a third, if possible.

Shortly after that a thought came into my mind that the Yom Qodesh Hebraic Calendar book is the third witness.

The Yom Qodesh book gives the following information about this matter:

After an explanation about the Yom Qodesh calendar and about the Yovheliym (Jubilees), it states that "... the Gregorian years ending with 17 an 67 are Jubilee years, and ... the Gregorian calendar year 2017 is the 120th Jubilee, or six thousand years from  the breathing of the soul into A'dam, the first man."

After receiving this third witness concerning where we are in time and thus how little time is left; 1. to go through this "Great Tribulation", and 2. before Yahusha HaMashiach will return to establish His Kingdom on All the earth, I'm sorry I didn't interrupt to share my knowledge in the discussion.

But praise be to Yahuah/Yahusha for doing what He promised!

As promised.

The tribulation was shortened from 7 years to maximal 5 years, because 2 years were cut of from it at the beginning. The 7 years started on the 18th of April 2018, but the tribulation only started in March 2020 with the declaration of a pandemic by the WHO.

The tribulation will continue and intensify from now on. But it should only last maximally unto the 30th of March 2025.

So all my friends and family in the faith; I would like to encourage you and say to you "Hold on and be stand strong in your faith in Yahuah/Yahusha".

Our King is coming!

Shortening of the days of tribulation.

The given numbers in the Sacred Scriptures for the tribulation add up to a total of 7 years.

But the promise of the shortening for the elect’s sake has been fulfilled.

This shortening is causing that the given numbers are not definitive.

The numbers of 1260 days, 42 months, 1335 days are not so literally anymore.

At this moment, the 1st of May 2023, there is just 1 year and a little less than 11 months left to the ultimate end of the tribulation.

Even the 3 and a half years of presence of the two witnesses will be shorter.

Could it be that they will appear the coming Shavuoth?

CONCLUSION.

We are in the year 6006 from the beginning of creation.

And we are in year 5999 since the fall into sin by A'dam and Chuah.

And today, on May 1st 2023, have still one year and a little less than 11 months left to complete.

Testimonial.

To finish this blog, I would like to add a testimony to a fulfilment of Scripture.

The verse I'm going to write about is Luqas (Luke) 21:36.

The את CEPHER, which is based on the KJV translation of the Sacred Scriptures, presents it this way:

"Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of A'dam." - LUQAS (LUKE) 21:36 - את CEPHER.

By reading "escape" many people think, because of preconceived ideas, of being taken away, or being raptured. An idea that has been popularised over the last centuries, but seem to be based on misunderstandings and false teachings.

But another translation expresses this verse as:

"Be on the alert and pray always that you will have the strength to go safely through all those things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man.”

(Luke 21:36 - GNBDK)

These words are a translation of the same original words, which could have been either Hebrew or Greek.

It is important to understand that the believer is encouraged to pray for the strength to GO SAFELY THROUGH all those things that will happen.

I have been praying for exactly that for many years, ever since I knew of this meaning of these words. And reality is that, now we are over three years into the five years that were left of the seven years of tribulation after the shortening, I can testify that I have been able to get safely through those years. This encourages me to keep paying for the same for the remaining time of affliction.

I hope this encourages you to do the same.

Our King, Yahusha HaMashiach, bless you and keep you safe, until the end! 🥰
